with you every step of the way.
CML offers a comprehensive permanent residency advisory service to ensure that everything goes smoothly for our clients regarding Cayman Islands Permanent Residency. Our team has over 20 years of experience reviewing Cayman Immigration Law. With expert guidance, you’ll be led step-by-step through what can sometimes seem like an impossible process.
The conversation starts with an initial no-commitment $300 consultation with our team. If you are interested in booking an initial consult, request a consultation to start your journey to permanent residency. If you choose to engage our services later, this fee will be deducted.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During your initial consultation, our experienced team will present the Permanent Residency points system to familiarise you with the various factors of the Points system. After your initial consultation, and you have engaged the CML immigration services team to act on your behalf, the team will curate a bespoke action plan, providing detailed checklists and timelines.
Is it time to consider applying for PR?
In most cases, once you have been legally and ordinarily resident in the Cayman Islands for eight years, you may start the application process for permanent residency. Your application can be submitted anytime before the end of your ninth year.
Even though you would only submit your application after your eighth year, becoming a permanent resident in the Cayman Islands is comprehensive, so it is advisable to consider the road ahead in advance. Consulting with one of our PR Immigration experts with ample time before your deadline will provide you with the knowledge and support you need in preparation for your application.

An Overview of the PR Point System
In most cases, almost all persons who reach eight years of continuous legal ordinary residence in the Cayman Islands are eligible to apply for Permanent Residence with the Right to Work. Applicants are assessed using a point system, with a requirement of reaching a minimum of 110 points.
A significant part of the permanent residency application is working through nine different factors with varying weights of points depending on your unique situation. Working with CML means that you can feel confident our experts diligently calculate your points in each of the different factors, while working hard to ensure the maximum is earned in each area.
