General Execution Trader
you'll play a pivotal role handling the firm’s discretionary trades in expanding trading capabilities and improving the sourcing of liquidity across equities, futures, FX, and sovereign bonds. You’ll work closely with trading venues, counterparties, and portfolio managers to optimize execution strategies and provide critical market insights.
This newly created position will entail fostering key industry relationships, and contributing internally to an environment of continuous improvement and innovation. As a key member of the Front Office team, you'll provide invaluable input on market access, connectivity, and liquidity management while mentoring new talent and driving excellence in execution.
About you:
You are an experienced execution trader with 5–10 years of expertise in financial markets, working for a tier 1 bank. You bring an in-depth understanding of electronic and voice trading, combined with strong knowledge of instruments across equities, FX, and fixed income.
Key Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a numerical or business-related discipline from a top-tier institution.
• Experience: Extensive trading experience, particularly in equities, futures, and FX. Exposure to fixed income markets is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient in trading platforms like EZE and Bloomberg FXGO, with technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of programming is advantageous.
• Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to build effective internal and external relationships.
Special Requirements:
Candidates must have experience working in a tier 1 bank within trade execution. Due to regulatory and tax considerations, candidates must be eligible to work in a capacity that does not subject the company to U.S. tax or regulatory obligations.
