Getting funding for Higher Education just got easier!

Cayman’s aspiring students are now able to apply for government scholarships online, says a recent article on Cayman News Service. There are two deadlines: one for international scholarships, which is 31 March and the deadline for local scholarships is June 30.
While the scholarships are not new, the online application process is – and that’s great. All high-school students should be applying online for the chance of continuing their education, it’s so easy!
At CML, we can’t reiterate enough how important higher education is to your career. Any high-school leaver who is wondering what to do with their future, should always choose furthering their education over entering the workforce straight away. While experience is important, university and college courses teach you to expand your mind, have self-discipline and can help you streamline the direction you want your career to take. Having a degree shows potential employers that you are able to work hard, with minimal supervision (as your parents really should just let you make your own mistakes at this stage) and you will also have up-to-date skills and knowledge of your particular field.
Plus, you’ll be working for the rest of your life, why should you start so soon?! Delay it for as long as you can! I have friends who are STILL in university! (And I envy them!)
Click here to apply for a scholarship, it will help you improve your future!
